Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

→ so, uh. my message center completely stopped working in chrome a few days ago. as in it literally does not display any of my messages. this happening to any other chrome users? i've been switching to firefox to check 'em but it's stupid inconvenient

mm yeah i guess this is just chrome acting up for me, i'll stick to firefox until it resolves itself

→ heyyyyyyyy so anime expo is also being annoyingly confusing but it seems there are a few tables available right now if y'all are interested in selling this year. i'm 99% sure i have a table to my name along with ~pie-is-i but the registration system is in a bit of chaos so i'm not positive... still, better get one now because artist alley reg is live and tables are running out without any official notice.

okay i'm confused now lol but i think they've closed further registration... anyone who's already paid for one will have their reservation honored according to their twitter.

At any rate, did you ever get your message center working in chrome again? If so, did you do something specific or did it just fix itself?

Hey I have found a solution to the Google Chrome thing. The Help Desk sent me this and it worked. x.x;

Hi,
It sounds like you have an extension in Chrome that is causing interference. The extension we are aware that causes this particular situation is Adblock for Chrome. If you have this we recommend that you either whitelist deviantart.com and deviantart.net or you disable it completely.

Hopefully that helps.
