Hate to break it to everyone but none of the generations are better than any of the others. If you judge them on their own merits than they all accomplish the task of introducing new trainers to the game, increasing interest in Pokemon in general, and getting previous fans to buy more games no matter what. I don't see anyone boycotting these games, just a lot of complaining.
I think they're running out of ideas for new pokemon.... If they made a new game with just the original 150 lots of the new generation fans wouldn't know what they are, see how they like the kickass old ones Why can't the starters just be Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur like in the original ones?
Red: Back in my day, there only 150 and they all kicked ass. Sure, that didn't leave much room for team variety, but that's what Johto did for us. Hoenn was alright and it started getting a little crazy in Sinnoh what with the Pokemon God and stuff, but we dealt. But now seriously. What the !@#$ is this thing?!
lol i love his face and i had that expression too when i saw the new pokemon. i was a bit disappointed actually.... i really wanted better pokemon, not just animals. i mean, a snake? a pig? an otter? i liked the first two generations, because of creatures like ditto, Entei, hoppip, and pikachu. the creator(s) had a bit more imagination instead of slightly adding or changing animals. i mean, they made a gear pokemon called gear!!! WTF?!? it's not that i totally hate the new generation, but i wish they'd be as imaginative as they once were.
I really like the design for the trainers... Like, most of the the ones in the past, I never really liked enough to get excited over but for b/w, I'm vurry excited. Also SAD CLOWN OTTER <3 JESUS CHRIST HOW CUTE AMIRITE?!
I'm so excited for this game but I got to wait so long for the Americain version it's not funny. I love them all! They all have some setbacks though the pig makes me hungry, snakes freak me out, and water types most of the time can't beat anything. I'm torn!!!
