Haha I lose. c: I really need to ditch the Empoleon but I'm a loser and I'm too attached to him.
You've got a well-balanced team. lD I'm having trouble with balancing because I get too attached to scythers and skarmories. loool
You could keep the Luxray and the Monferno, for Electric (+Dark!)and Fire (+Fighting!), and add in... Oh, I dunno, perhaps a Girafarig for Psychic (+Normal!) and a Ludicolo for Grass (+Water!)?
And then BAM! Balanced team. Only thing you fail against is Dragon, which can be remedied by adding Ice Beam as one of Ludicolo's attacks. Or Dialga instead of Skarmory, which would give you Steel+Dragon, and Dragon is good against Dragon. Since you already have Scyther to Fly.
I think I'm thinking too far into this. .-.
